Dasha Little

Mrs. Dasha E. Little is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Apogee Solutions, Inc.  As the leader of a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Mrs. Little is the innovative and creative force behind a growing company providing consulting and professional services.  Previously owning a private counseling practice in Vocational Rehabilitation and Life Care Planning, she formed Apogee Solutions in 2002 to expand into other sectors.  With involvement in several Wounded Warrior programs within the Department of Defense, Mrs. Little’s education and experience in Disability Management allows Apogee Solutions to underscore its commitment and service to our military. 

No work better personifies Mrs. Little’s “passion to make a difference” than Apogee Solutions work with severely wounded, injured, and ill service members—our Nation’s Wounded Warriors.  Because of her keen focus, Apogee Solutions’ professionals proudly provide Wounded Warrior advocacy, medical and non-medical case management, and subject matter experts for Psychological Health (PH) referral services for Wounded Warriors. 

Mrs. Little holds credentials as a Certified Rehabilitation Provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia in addition to certification as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina.  Her national certifications include:  Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), and qualification as an Expert Witness in federal, state, and appeals hearings related to catastrophic medical and vocational claims.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from East Carolina University and in 1985 she received a Master of Science degree from the University of Nebraska.

In 2011, Mrs. Little was the recipient of the Minerva Award for Leading Women Business Owners in Hampton Roads, awarded by the Small Business Institute, as well as the Women in Business Achievement Award from Inside Business.  She was also recognized as an Incredible ECU Woman by East Carolina University’s Women’s Roundtable in 2013.  Mrs. Little was recognized with the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award from The Virginian-Pilot newspaper in 2016.  In 2018, Mrs. Little was identified as a Trailblazer by the Hampton Roads Chapter of Women in Defense and also was a judge and presenter at the Inside Business Entrepreneurial Excellence awards.  Mrs. Little is actively involved in the Tidewater Government Industry Council, and served from 2013 to 2023 on the East Carolina University Medical and Health Science Foundation; she currently serves on the Advancement Council for the East Carolina University Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement.  Apogee Solutions was also recognized in 2011, 2012, and 2013 as one of Hampton Roads’ twenty fastest growing companies with the community’s Roaring 20 Award
